Analyze Boulder 79: Fin-Tech, Map-Tech, and Ed-Tech

Details
Welcome to Analyze Boulder 79!
Analyze Boulder is a community of data geeks who live, work, and play in Boulder, Colorado.
The first Wednesday of every month, our members give fast, accessible, high-energy TED-style talks once a month on any data topic.
Talk at an event! We take all levels of technical and non technical talks, we focus on the data and ask that you not promote companies or products. Tell us about your aha moment from some data!!! Submit your idea to http://speakers.analyzeboulder.com/
Due to changes in the Galvanize liquor licensing, we will not be providing beer for this meetup. We will, however, be providing snacks, and encourage discussions to continue over beers at your favorite bar afterwards.
Join us at Galvanize with mingling/snacks from 6-6:30 pm, followed by the live event, and then we stick around and chat afterward.
Please bring cash to contribute for future events. For this meetup we have two very interesting talks:
Richard Koehler will talk about applying time series analysis to GIS data, for 'geo-temporal maps' of salmon migration.
Robert Pyle will talk about financial models for rebalancing portfolios
David Woodward will talk about multi-variable visualizations of how well students are learning math
Livestream will be available:
