Ananda was founded in 1969 by Yogananda’s direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda. Ananda is a global movement based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda who showed how everyone can realize God in their daily lives as a tangible, loving reality. Ananda provides classes in the path of self-realization and Kriya Yoga, meditation support, and spiritual community.
Self-realization means realizing your true Self as the great ocean of Spirit, by breaking the delusion that you are this little ego, this little human body and personality.”

Patanjali's Yamas & Niyamas In Our Daily Lives for Spiritual Success
Ananda Thousand Oaks, 1321 Thousand Oaks Blvd #124, Thousand Oaks, ca, USThe Yamas & Niyamas are the foundation upon which the yogi builds his spiritual life.
2-Night Series: Jan. 6 & 13, 6:30pm-8:00pm.
We probably all tend to control our physical behaviors, but do we do the harder work to control our thought tendencies?
In this two night introduction to Patanjali’s Yamas and Niyamas, we will uncover those tendencies harmful to spiritual progress. We’re not only talking about outward practices, but also inner attitudes. If inner attitudes are correct, outwardly they are expressed properly for spiritual expansion. By directionally making an effort now, we can save ourselves incarnations.
