Are you seeking more inner peace? Would you like to reduce stress and improve your health and well-being?

Or would you like to be more deeply grounded in the heart-centered wisdom of your spirit and be able to share that light with others?

The purpose of this group is help you experience the joy of meditation in a relaxed and supportive setting with sincere like-minded souls interested in meditating, learning, sharing, and connecting.

You'll learn a practical and powerful method of meditation brought to the West by Paramhansa Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic "Autobiography of a Yogi." This ancient healing science will help you reduce tension and feel more relaxed with improved mental clarity and awakened inner vitality. In addition to their scientifically proven health benefits, these techniques can take you even deeper into an expanding connection with your spirit.

No prior meditation experience is required to join or attend. If you do not know how to meditate, we will teach you an authentic method that Yogananda himself recommended and taught: it is an easy-to-learn, transformative, and profound technique.

In addition to a guided meditation, each meeting is unique with a different theme and will usually include:

-Breathing Exercises
-Chanting
-Spiritual Reading from Inspiring Books
-some gentle spiritually oriented Yoga Postures

All are welcome! No prior experience is required.

Spiritualize your Sunday morning as we discover this beautiful setting together. Bring peace and joy into your body as you walk in harmony with your surroundings. Experience the beauty and Divinity of nature and its healing presence. In nature we can experience our true inner being. Even modern research tells us what we already know intuitively, we are happier and healthier and more compassionate when we connect with nature. Please bring your own water. Meeting Time: 8:50am. Above all, it seeks to raise your level of consciousness by reinforcing the natural effects of yoga postures. With this, it is also designed to harmonize your body, mind, and soul. The primary emphases are: *Safety and correct alignment *Being relaxed at all times, even during the midst of effort *Working directly with the body’s subtle energy via yoga postures *Using the postures to raise your consciousness, and *Adaptation – modifying each yoga posture to fit the needs and abilities of the practitioner rather than trying to force the practitioner into some “ideal” position. Affirmations Each yoga posture is paired with its own affirmation practiced silently. The affirmation is designed to reinforce the posture’s natural effect on one’s state of consciousness.
