Roller derby is a high-energy, full-contact sport, that actively embraces individuals of all ages, genders, abilities, and sexualities. Through derby, we aim to enhance athletic performance, inspire a broader commitment to a healthy lifestyle among participants, and elevate the level of local competition by celebrating the successes of community teams and athletes.
Hosted by Rage City Roller Derby, Alaska’s first and Anchorage’s only roller derby team, the Anchorage Roller Derby group is dedicated to developing, promoting, and sustaining the competitive sport of roller derby throughout our community.
We value empowerment through athleticism and resilience, holding space for diverse perspectives, experience, and talents, mutual support and long-lasting connections, active participation and collaboration and pushing boundaries as we strive for continuous growth and achievement in our sport.
