Join the Global Movement on October 2nd!

Exciting news! We just launched the brand new website for World Day for Farmed Animals at DayForAnimals.org!

Join us and hundreds of other caring people across the globe in the 30th anniversary on October 2nd! We’re working with grassroots activists and organizations to hold protests at slaughterhouses and other facilities.
Participate in the closest event to you, or register your own!

Can't make it to a protest? You can still get active by distributing our new 16-page "You've Been Lied To" brochure.

Check out our new site at www.DayForAnimals.org and join us!

Take Action to Air "Too Controversial" Ads

Each year, World Day for Farmed Animals seeks to expose the public to the shocking truth of animal agribusiness. One tactic includes running high-profile bus advertisements and billboards.

This year, however, Clear Channel is excluding our ads from their PSA program! Instead of helping us re-work the ads to meet their needs, they have rejected us nationally. In response, FARM has launched a Change.org petition.

Tell Clear Channel that Americans have the right to know about their food!

FARM Helps Launch Vegan Mayo!

A dedicated team of FARM volunteers has joined several other national organizations to help veganize the deli section of Whole Foods Markets.

This effort is already paying off, with several regions of Whole Foods agreeing to replace 100% of their deli mayonnaise with the new "Beyond Mayo" product by Hampton Creek Foods.

The first shipment has hit Northern California, resulting in more vegan options and a drop in the number of hens raised and killed for their eggs.

The effort continues in AZ, NJ, NM, NV, NY, and SoCal - get involved!

FARM Offers 'Innovative Activism Award'

Since 1999, FARM's Sabina Fun has awarded small grants to groups across the world to promoting veganism and animal rights. In 2014, we will be taking our commitment to the grassroots one step further by offering our first-ever Innovative Activism Award of up to $2,500!

If you think your organization has an idea that will be a game-changer in the fight for farmed animal rights, stay tuned for our new application next month. And don't be shy - several "runner-up" awards of $500-1,000 will be offered as well!

Read about our past awardees and watch for our 2014 Application.

Special Thanks to the 10BL Truck Crew!

John Corrigan is FARM's 10 Billion Lives Tour Operator. Joining the truck at the end of Warped Tour in July, he takes on the immense responsibility of managing our custom-built pay-per-view vehicle on the road. Prior to joining FARM, John volunteered with Compassionate Action for Animals in his hometown of Minneapolis, MN where he conducted pay-per-view events.

Megan Peranteau is wrapping up her role as FARM's 10 Billion Lives Tour Assistant, working with us to ensure the smooth running of the vehicle and help manage events. We met Megan as one of our key volunteers in Portland, OR and have been fortunate to since have her on board for late summer events. We wish her the best as she continues speaking out for animals!
