Volunteer Opportunity to Help Animals Next Week!

From: veganvet
Sent on: Thursday, February 6, 2014 10:54 PM
Dear UAALA members,

Next week the Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM) will be sharing the truth about the suffering of billions of farmed animals with college students in a compelling, meaningful way and they can use your help!

Here is a message from one of FARM's representatives about the volunteer opportunity in Los Angeles next week. Perhaps you or someone you know would like to come and help out.

Over the past two years FARM has visited college campuses across the country on the“10 Billion Lives Tour” to spread a message of compassion.

At each event hundreds of students watch the compelling 10 Billion Lives video showing everyday living conditions and standard industry practices of animal agriculture. After watching the video, we talk to the students- answering their questions and giving them guidance on how they can help end this cruelty.

For many students this is a life-changing experience. Over 80% of viewers make a pledge to start on a path toward to vegan diet!

This ongoing success would not be possible without the help of local volunteers. In every city activists rally to the cause and help us inspire viewers to put their compassion into action. With the help of local activists we can reach even more students and have longer conversations after the video.

Where: UCLA and CSULA
When: Mon 2/10Fri 2/14 from 10am-2pm

If you can join us please contact [address removed] for more details.

For the animals,
