About us
We hosted our first food night last month grilling yakiniku on the table, passing around kimchi pancakes, and sharing favorite anime moments between bites. Our group centers on real people, real events, real connections. We meet every few weeks, rotating between cooking nights, film viewings, language practice, and casual hangouts. A host guides each event but stays in the background warming dishes, starting conversations, and making sure you don’t feel lost. • The kind of person who brings extra ramen eggs to share and asks what drama you’re watching • Events are low pressure you can speak only English or mix in Japanese or Korean if you want • We bond over snacks as much as subtitles and find our regular crew by showing up • Beginners welcome no one quizzes you on anime lore or Korean honorifics Real people, real events, real connections.
