Even when viewed alone, watching anime is never an isolating experience. Anime’s rich characters exist in worlds with compelling triumphs and challenges that leave a direct mark on the viewer, igniting reflection and change. The same reflection that drives characters to create their own communities inspires us as fans – including AnimeChicago’s own history!
