Details

Join us for a beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop cutting vinyl and making crafts with the ever-popular Cricut machine!

A few examples of things you can make with precision cut vinyl:

- Stick-on decorations for just about anything (coffee mugs, glassware)
- Iron-on designs for t-shirts, tote bags or other textile objects
- House/Mailbox Numbers
- Signs and Home Decor
- Window decals for the car
- Stencils for glass etching or painting
and much more!

Check out our Cricut wiki page for more project ideas:

In this workshop we will cover the basics of creating a project design in Cricut Design Space, and using that design to cut vinyl, prepare it for transfer and embellish your choice of a coffee mug, drink glass, vase, candle glass or car decal that you can take with you when the class is over.

If you have a laptop and/or a Cricut machine of your own, we encourage you to bring it with you to the class. For participants who do not have (or don't want to bring) this equipment, we have PCs at the shop and there will be at least 2 Cricut machines for participants to use to complete their projects.

CLASS FEE (includes all materials):
FREE for current Annapolis Makerspace Members (to join, please visit www.makeannapolis.org)
$25 for non-members
