Join Emily Carter LIVE for this inspiring presentation on "Discovering Your Inner Artist.”
Photography is a form of Art where one creates visual impressions that expresses your technical and imaginative skill. It is intended to be appreciated for its beauty or emotional power. Finding your inner artist is a tough job but that is exactly what makes it worth the effort.
This presentation will give you ideas on how to embark on your journey for self-discovery as a photographer. Whether you class yourself as a ‘creative person’ or struggle to see yourself in a creative light, we all have an inner artist just waiting to be unleashed.
Emily J. Carter is an accomplished and widely published nature conservation photographer based in Annapolis, Maryland. With a distinctive style that blends fine art with environmental storytelling, her work has been showcased in solo and juried exhibitions, and featured in books, magazines, and newspapers across the country.

She is a sought-after speaker and judge, having presented at camera clubs and major events such as Mid-Atlantic Photo Visions. Her dedication to visual storytelling and education continues to inspire photographers of all levels.

Emily began her photographic journey as a teenager, drawn to the camera as a way of deeply engaging with the natural world. Her signature body of work, “Nature as Art,” captures the quiet elegance and ephemeral beauty of the outdoors, inviting viewers to slow down and reconnect with nature.
The meeting will be held at the UNITED UNIVERSALIST CHURCH IN EASTON, 7401 Ocean Gateway, Easton, MD 21601
