Have you ever calibrated your camera's LCD screen for the proper brightness? Did you even know this was a "thing?" Did you even know that you could do this?

Most cameras come out of the box with the LCD screen a little on the bright side, so your exposures may look good or even not so good on your LCD screen after you snap your photos. I had to set my monitor brightness on my Nikons to -2.

Is the monitor(s) that you use to post-process the correct brightness for good post-processing and to match your printer(s)?

In this weekend's video, which goes back about 5 years, I am going to show you, in less than six minutes, how to calibrate your computer's monitor and your LCD screen for the correct brightness, so when you're out shooting, you know exactly what you're getting as far as exposure.

Saturday mornings starting at midnight (or sometimes as early as Thursday or Friday) thru Sunday night, you can watch a free photography-related training video for the entirety of the weekend.
