Anoka Women over 50 meet up

Let’s head to Coon Rapids for their free Summer Concert Series held at the performance pavilion of the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park and enjoy the music of Stir Krazy. They are a premiere band who plays 1960's to 1990's radio rock. The concert begins at 7:00 pm.

They have concessions available for purchase from the Northstar Lions and Boy Scout Troop #524 until 7pm. The park entrance fee is waived for these concerts. So grab your lawn chair or blanket and join us for some free music in the park

Jen and Jesse are co-hosting this outing, so come on out and join them. 😊 They will get there by 6:00 pm to save a spot. Please try to be there no later than 6:30pm. It’s first come, first serve, but we will do our best to save space for everyone who is on the going list. Please be courteous and update your rsvp status if you are not coming.

***PLEASE READ: Kari would like this event to be for our new members. It's a great opportunity for our new members to get to know other new members and get to know what our group is all about. If you have joined our meet-up within the past couple of months and have not yet attended any events, or maybe only attended a couple of events, please consider attending. Kari would like to spend an evening getting to know you all and having you share in great conversations as well with each other. 😊 Sometimes, new members can be a bit shy and hesitant to come when there is a big group. So this will be a much smaller group and not so overwhelming for our new members. 😉

Time is from 5:15 - 6:30pm.

**Same rules apply as far as being sure to remove yourself from the Going list 2 days before the event to allow the next person on the waitlist enough notice to attend. If this does not happen, a strike will be given. Also, if you are on the Going list and you do not show up, you will receive a strike. If a person earns 3 strikes, they will be removed from the group for 5 months.

So, who is ready to continue their summer and stay cool indoors while playing some Bingo and possibly win a nice size jackpot? 🤑💰 We've had numerous winners the last few times we've played. Hopefully, that winning trend carries on! As the saying goes, you can't win if you don't play! Each of the 10 games has a payout of $190 and 2 games of progressive jackpots of $1,000. The cost is $20 for the 10 games and $2 for the first coverall and $5 for the final coverall.

NOW FOR THE CARDS: We played a fun card game after we were done eating, which led us right up to the bingo games starting at 6:30. We would like to play this game again, so we ask everyone to try to meet @ 4:30 and order their food before 5:00 pm. They do have $3 off all appetizers, so the ones of us who want to order appetizers and/or drinks can do so before happy hour ends at 5pm. 🍔🌮🍹🍷 After we are done eating, we are going to play a fun card game that Judy introduced at the last bingo outing. She will be happy to teach anyone who is new to the game. 😊 It's very easy to learn and promises to be fun for everyone. One thing that is required is for each person to bring $4.00 (in 1 dollar bills, please). At the end of the game, there will be one winner who will win the $44 jackpot!!! 🤑🤑 Consider it a lead up win to all the bingo wins we will have. 😉 Now, doesn't that sound like something worth playing for????? So please be sure you bring your extra $4 to play this card game. ♠️♣️♦️♥️ We would like everyone to participate. You will love it. 😀
