The ladies are back at the Plymouth Playhouse with the musical that started it all. The church basement kitchen throughout much of America is often the heart and soul of any church. In Church Basement Ladies, we meet the pastor, three kitchen cooks, and one daughter who run the kitchen and care for the congregation by preparing and serving the food. The musical comedy based on recipes, food, and change in the church is funny, heartwarming, and down to earth.
We are planning to meet for lunch at The Broadway Pizza and Grill across the street from the theatre at 12:30 sharp. We then attend the comedy at 2:00 pm. These two places are literally steps from each other.
YOU MUST BUY YOUR TICKET TO THE PLAY ON YOUR OWN for the Sunday, July 27th - 2:00 pm performance.
Ticket cost is $39.50 (for seniors - 60+) and $46 for adults, and it is non refundable. After taxes and fees, it adds up to @ $44 for seniors.
Judy and Sharon have already purchased their tickets in Row B seats 11 and 12 on the MAIN FLOOR in the CENTER SECTION IN FRONT OF THE STAGE. Row A is all sold out. Buy your ticket in Row B or Row C (starting on the left side of the center seating section, 2 rows back) so you are sitting alongside us (B10, B9, etc ) or behind us (C14, C13, C12, etc) so we can all be together. If you purchase in the wrong section, it'll be sad, 😔 but not our problem.
***ONLY AFTER you complete your ticket purchase, please RSVP to this event. We then want to see a COMMENT on the event page of which seat you purchased, like what Sharon and I did. Attendance will only be limited by tickets available for this performance. There are currently many seats open by our seats. Hurry and do this so we can all sit together.
We will meet before the play at The Broadway Bar and Pizza for lunch at 12:30 pm. Please arrive on time so we can order promptly at 12:45 pm. We will not wait for late comers to order. The address is 13705 27th Ave. N, Plymouth.
***The theatre is literally walking distance (.1 miles away from The Broadway Pizza. Our suggestion to do would be to park at the theatre, then walk to Broadway Pizza and Grill to meet us at 12:30. (Just give yourselves enough time for the walk). Then we walk back to the theatre after we eat. After all, it probably would feel good to walk a little bit after stuffing ourselves with some good food. 😋
