Tubing on the Cannon River - Welch Mill, then dinner at Kings.

***We are posting this now so people can possibly plan ahead so we can hopefully get a large group to join us.

Let’s enjoy a relaxing and fun day tubing down the Cannon River in Welch, followed by dinner and drinks. 😎 With all the rain we have been getting this spring and summer, it promises to be deep and quite rapid....at least that is what we are hoping.😉🤞🤞

Please note the following information:

*Arrive to Welch by 10:30. Want to be in line for the shuttle buses by 11:00.

*$20.00 CASH + Drivers license to rent one tube. THEY DO NOT TAKE CHECKS OR CREDIT CARDS!!

Cooler tubes and coolers are available for rent as well. No styrofoam or glass allowed. All coolers will be checked if you choose to bring your own.

*They provide twine to tie tubes together if you want to hang out with another person or two, or three...... 🤭

*Meet as a group @ 10:50 on the right side of the building where the tubes are given out. Get there by 10:30 and get in line to purchase your tube. Then, meet to the right of the building after you have your ticket.

*Minimal cell reception, which might make it difficult to get a hold of us. So PLEASE be on time and update your RSVP the day before so we know who will be there. If you are signed up, we expect you will be there.

*Will wait no later than 11:10 for anyone before we board the shuttle.🚎 So be on time.

*You may bring your own waterproof cooler with your own drinks/snacks. Just no glass or styrofoam. We usually are on the water for @ 3 hours or so. So you may want a beverage(s) and some snacks to eat as we coast on down the river.

*Bring plenty of water and sunscreen. (Possibly a hat??)

*Bring good water shoes. Flip flops are usually not a good option.

*Once done, we will get changed into street clothes and go have dinner and drinks at King’s Place Bar and Grill in Miesville. It is on the way home. Known for awesome burgers. 🍔🍟😋
