Hey, that's my Fish! -

"In Hey, That's My Fish!, players want to catch as many fish as possible with their waddle of penguins. Each turn, a player moves one penguin in a straight line over hex-shaped ice tiles with 1, 2 or 3 fish on them. The player then collects the hex from where the penguin started its movement from the table, thereby creating a gap which penguins can't cross on future turns. When a penguin can't move, it's removed from play with its owner claiming the tile on which it stands. The player who collects the most fish wins." ~ BGG

Hey, that's my Fish!

This is a double feature event where will be playing two games back to back. To get into the festive Holiday spirit, our first game will be Elf: Journey from the North Pole. For fans of the movie or those that know of it, this game takes place at the start of the movie when Buddy is leaving the North Pole and heading to New York city.

Our second game features penguins trying to nab as many fish as possible as the ice flow shrinks. Please dress warmly, it's chilly out there.

This is a mini-event where we showcase and play one game. Mini-events will range in size depending on the player count of the game. Because of this, we will only take those that RSVP, but you are free to come watch. Please only RSVP if you know you WILL attend. Space is limited.

We will be playing at Transplants Brewery. Check out my collection over at Board Game Geek and make a suggestion of a game you'd like to see showcased.

The event starts at 7:00 pm and will conclude after we finish. I only plan on running a single game, but depending on the mood we may play more. There is no cost for the event.

There are occasional food trucks to buy grub and snacks from and Transplants has a variety of spirits, along with drinks for those into non-alcoholic beverages, if you would care to support a local brewery. They have been nice enough to provide the space for us to use.
