DU's Enrichment Program is offering a 3 part course on Animal Rights.

What do we owe the animals we share this planet with? If you've ever questioned the ethics of factory farms, animal testing or using animals for fashion and entertainment, you're not alone—and you're in the right place. This course, taught by wildlife law attorney Jess Beaulieu and animal law professor Justin Marceau, dives into the heart of the animal rights movement, where compassion meets action. Explore why more people are recognizing animals as sentient beings with their own intrinsic value—and how that's changing laws, industries and public opinion.

DU typically provides parking permits for the classes. If anyone wants to grab food before the presentations, I typically walk over to Pita Fresh on University (short walk from the hall).

Although archaeologists have learned a huge amount about this iconic monument, a sense of mystery continues about its purpose. Join us for a special presentation by one of Stonehenge’s most famous investigators and explore the history, myths and misconceptions about this famous monument, as well as the most recent research about its relationship to the Sun and the Moon.
