Last time we explored The 7 Layers of Anxiety and discovered that anxious thoughts are often the final symptom—not the beginning of the problem.
But if anxiety doesn't begin with our thoughts...
Where does it begin?
The answer may surprise you.

Your nervous system doesn't experience life through language. It doesn't think in sentences or store memories as stories. It responds to patterns, emotions, sensations, and experiences—often long before your conscious mind understands what's happening.

That's why you can know you're safe...and still feel anxious.
In this second session, we'll explore what it really means to work below the anxiety story. You'll discover why insight alone rarely creates lasting change, and why your nervous system—not your thoughts—is often the key to breaking the anxiety cycle.
This isn't about digging into your past or analyzing every anxious thought.
It's about understanding how your brain and body learn patterns—and how those patterns can begin to change.

### In this session you'll discover:

  • Why your nervous system doesn't communicate through words
  • The difference between understanding anxiety and changing anxiety
  • How emotional patterns become automatic
  • Why anxiety often returns even when you "know better"
  • What it means to work below conscious thinking
  • Why lasting change comes from changing patterns—not fighting thoughts

You'll also experience a brief guided exercise that demonstrates what working below the story actually feels like.

Many people leave this session realizing—for the first time—that anxiety is not something they need to battle.
It's a pattern they can begin to change.
