About us
Anyone Can Draw is a beginner-friendly drawing group for people who think they can't draw, or who haven't picked up a pencil in years. Our goal is to show that anyone can learn to draw what's right in front of them.
Whether you've never sketched before or just want to get back into it, you're welcome here. No experience or supplies are needed.
At our outdoor sessions in Jersey City, I teach the basics of drawing buildings, skylines, and everyday scenes around the park, such as shapes, proportion, and perspective. Then everyone sketches on location, and we share our drawings and swap tips. Basic pens and paper are provided, and you're welcome to bring your own sketchbook.
