The Summer Hikaru Died Watch Party 🍿🎥

October's theme is all about Horror: The Body and Transformation, so it's only natural we watch the first four episodes of the most most boundary-breaking, thematically queer horror stories in recent media today, The Summer Hikaru Died. 💃🏽😄

Story Synopsis: Yoshiki Tsujinaka, a teenager in rural Japan, discovers that his friend Hikaru Indou has been possessed by an otherworldly entity, forcing him to navigate their changed relationship amid supernatural dangers.

What to expect: Gather at the 'Watch Parties' voice channel in Discord, where I'll begin livestreaming the series after a 15-minute grace period. We'll have a brief 10-minute break after Episodes 1–2 to relax and/or discuss, then we'll dive back in for Episodes 3–4. This goes without saying, but no spoilers!

Can't wait to see you all—and the show! ❤️
