Fic Writing Session ✍️📚 @ Harold Washington Library (Floor 5)

Join several fan writers and artists at Harold Washington Public Library (5th Floor) to work on a project for GloLoStoFoWe (thanks, Ellipsus!) 😄💃🏽

For this group, your host will be Jay! I'll arrive a bit earlier and find a nice spot for us. Then, I'll share a photo of where I'll be sitting so you guys can find me. 😄

What to expect: It's super chill! We usually do a casual round of introductions, then we hunker down and write. For the first hour or so, we chat as we work. The final hour is our silent writing time. 🤫🫶

45-minute writing sprint @ 1PM: If you're on Discord, you can join other writers across the city for a 45-minute writing sprint at 1PM, competing to see who can get the most words down in a single session. 😈😄

What to bring:

• Pen, paper, and/or your laptop — Basically anything you need to work on whatever. Even if all you have is a general idea, join us!
• A creative project! — If you have an original story, fanart, poetry, or even music in mind, you may join us to work on that as well. 😄
• Ideas — You are welcome to collaborate! Even during our silent time, we have a Discord chat where writers can bounce ideas back and forth.

Background on Jay: Loves DC—especially Batfam. Group creator and main host. Currently working on a Banana Fish/Batman crossover she should have finished ages ago. 💀 Longtime fandom lurker and full-time copywriter.
