Fic Writing Session ✍️📚 @ Harold Washington Library (Floor 6)

Join several fan writers (and artists!) at Harold Washington Public Library (6th Floor) to wrok on a project—especially if you're participating in the GloLoStoFoWe event (thanks, Ellipsus!) 😭💃🏽

For this group, your host will be El! Hosts usually arrive a bit earlier to find a nice spot for the group. Then, they share a photo of where they'll be sitting so you guys can find them. 😄

What to expect: Once a few people have arrived, we usually do a casual round of introductions. For the first hour, we chat as we work. The final hour is our silent writing time. 🤫🫶

45-minute writing sprint @ 1PM: If you're on Discord, you can join other writers across the city for a 45-minute writing sprint at 1PM, competing to see who can get the most words down in a single session. 😈😄

What to bring:

• Pen, paper, and/or your laptop — Basically anything you need to work on whatever. Even if all you have is a general idea, join us!
• A creative project! — If you have an original story, fanart, poetry, or even music in mind, you may join us to work on that as well. 😄
• Ideas — You are welcome to collaborate! Even during our silent time, we have a Discord chat where writers can bounce ideas back and forth.

About El: El is an avid writer for Carole and Tuesday and also loves Sk8 the Infinity and Haikyuu! They live on the Northside, so if you're in or near Rogers Park, feel free to ask El to hit up a local spot or two. 😄
