📑 Know about our speaker: Dr. Quanqing XU currently works in OceanBase Lab as a technical director and is engaged in research and development of OceanBase distributed database. He received a Ph.D in Computer Science, Peking University, and he was a research fellow at National University of Singapore.

🔖 Topic: Achieving High-availability and Auto-scalability in Stream Processing by Shunjie DING
📑 Know about our speaker: Shunjie DING, currently works at RisingWave Labs as a tech leader and focuses on the development of the cloud platform with cloud-native techniques. Prior to joining RisingWaveLabs, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Alibaba, contributing to the development of the cloud platform for the distributed relational database PolarDB-X.

📓 Learn about the topic: Shunjie will introduce the architecture and design of RisingWave Kubernetes operator. He will cover the HA abilities that natively brought by the Kubernetes and a future or multi-AZ HA and cross-regional data recovery with Kubernetes. He will also demonstrate how to scale the stream processing automatically. The audience will understand the underlying of how RisingWaves are deployed with the operator and how it achieves HA and auto scalability with Kubernetes.
