Who is using web hooks?
A number of people have started using web hooks. Some consciously, some out of pragmatism. And that's a good sign. Let's reinforce this pattern... implement web hooks and join this party. (and our API Meetup)

Building Event Driven API Services Using Webhooks, Travis McChesney, Director of Engineering, Cloud Elements
How do you build and use user defined callback URLs (known as Webhooks) to notify your users of events that occurred on your system? Or use those URLs to get remote notification from API connected systems you use?
Using Webhooks is becoming more common as APIs become essential to all programming models. We will cover four common usage models: API capture, TCP Tunneling, Dynamic DNS and Remote Development
Bio: As the director of engineering at Cloud Elements, my primary responsibilities are focused around resource management and planning. Further responsibilities include coordination of the development team with the QA team to ensure proper testing, and product release management. In this position, I am still able to perform many of the same roles as the senior engineer position, including development as needed, and operations. http://www.linkedin.com/pub/travis-mcchesney/27/4a2/313
