A RESTful DOOM API

Details
Join us for APIs & IPAs at MuleSoft!
Talk #1: A RESTful DOOM API, Jeff Harris
Everyone agrees that APIs are great for connecting applications, but none have fully explored APIs' full potential in controlling video game characters. In this talk, MuleSoft engineer Jeff Harris will talk about his custom-built RESTful interface hosted inside the classic first-person shooter DOOM. His fun hack demonstrates how you can easily integrate anything with good tools and some creativity (while also amping up the fun).
Talk #2: AMF (The API Modeling Framework), Aldo Bucchi
AMF (The API Modeling Framework) was originally designed to provide a higher level API modeling system, one that was compatible with RAML and OAS, but much more powerful and extensible. Over time it has evolved into an exciting new open source project that pushes the limits of what we can do today with API technologies. MuleSoft engineer Aldo Bucchi will demo some of the most exciting features like advanced dependency tracking, structural and semantic diffing, schema management, and virtual queryable views on top of APIs (think SQL for APIs). https://raml-org.github.io/api-modeling-framework/
Food + beverages will be provided. See you there!
