3rd Wednesday Potluck/Speaker Program: Midstate Trail: Then and Now

The 91-mile Midstate Trail bisects the state of Massachusetts from the NH state line to the RI border. Along the trail, hikers will encounter numerous landmarks, both historical and natural, including the Mt. Wachusett summit, views of the Boston skyline, countless stone walls, old cellar holes, massive dams, and awesome wildlife.

Mike Peckar will fill us in on the latest developments, news, and goings-on involving the trail. He is the Chair of the Midstate Trail Committee, and is also on the board of several area conservation/trail organizations, including the AMC Worcester Chapter, Wachusett Greenways, Greater Worcester Land Trust, and Green Mountain Club. In his day job, he is a data scientist at SAIC.
