WE'RE GOING TO THE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL, PEASANTS!!! WOOOO-ETH!!!
Join your fellow 20s & 30s for a Ren-Fest camp out the weekend of September 25-27. We have a group campsite reserved at Myles Standish State Forest for camping Friday and Saturday night thus enabling easy access to King Richard's Faire in Carver, MA on Saturday, September 26!
20s & 30s folx from any chapter are welcome to join us on this jaunt, fealty to the Worcester Chapter is not a pre-requisite. Camping will be capped at 20 people (campsite regulation) but for anyone unable to join us for camping, all are still welcome to come meet up with us at King Richard's Faire for a day of festivities.
Several items of note: Members of the Jackalope Society will be given one week registration preference (August 30 - September 5), after that it'll be first come first serve to register. If you're looking to just camp but not Ren-Fest, this event is not for you and we recommend looking for tenting elsewhere. Come ready to revel renaissance style. You must secure your own ticket to King Richard's Faire! It can sell out, so we recommend getting that ticket as soon as you're confirmed for this camp out (www.kingrichardsfaire.net). Tickets are $40 for September 26. No meals will be provided on this camping trip, however the Worcester Gear Shed can provide camp equipment. Cost for the campsite is pay what you can ($5 is appreciated). Costumes for the King Richard's Faire are encouraged but not required! If you'd like to borrow or need some tips, your fearless leader is a massive nerd and can offer budget friendly recommendations.
