Let's Hike Myakka River SP!

We will hike from Power Line Road to Ranch House Road, which is a mostly shaded ~5-mile hike. Meet at Power Line trailhead inside the park a little before 8:30. There is parking along the road.

There are restrooms located near the entrance to the park. Park entry fee is $4 for single-occupancy vehicle; $6 for 2-8 people. On Tuesdays, only the SOUTH entrance (Clark Rd./FL72) is open; it opens at 8 am.

Bring everything you need for a comfortable hike -- sunscreen, bug spray, hat, sunglasses, plenty of water, snacks. Maybe some of us would like to bring a sack lunch to socialize after?
