Let's Hike Alafia River Corridor Nature Preserve - North!

We will be hiking the north side of the preserve which has a mix of sun & shade and some gentle hills. Hiking poles can be helpful in this park. Please remember to bring sunscreen, bug spray, hat, sunglasses, WATER, snacks, and anything else you need to make your hike enjoyable. We will walk at a 2-3 mph pace for about 6.7 miles. If you are not conditioned to walk this distance at this pace, please choose another hike. Know your limitations and respect your fellow hikers.

At the trail head, there are restrooms and plenty of parking off-road.

Please note there are a few entries into this park. Be sure to use the pin to find our exact meeting spot! Please arrive early so that we can start our hiking promptly at 8:30.

At the conclusion of our hike we will be driving to the nearby White Oak Bistro, 10530 County Road 39, Lithia, FL 33547 for lunch and socializing. This is optional, but we hope you'll consider joining us!
