Join us for a paddle on the Sheboygan River from Millhome to Johnsonville. This beautiful 10 mile section of the river is mostly swift flatwater punctuated by numerous riffles and one class I rapid.
If you are camping with us at High Cliff State Park and want to follow us to the put in, we will leave the campsite at 8:45am sharp.
Plan on about 4 total hours (at most) on the river with a stop at or near the Herman Recycling Center landing to eat our packed lunches.
This trip is suitable for anyone with some moving water experience. Shorter boats are better, but longer boats are fine if you can back ferry and maneuver around obstacles in fast current.
If you have a spare boat to lend/rent or would like to borrow a boat, post that in the comments below.
It's possible we might have to move the location of this trip due to water levels or obstructions, so watch for updates as we get closer to the event.
Be sure to check out the High Cliff State Park camping event and RSVP on the wisoutdoors.org site if you want to camp. See here: https://www.wisoutdoors.org/event/group-camping-highcliff-2025/
