A social American mahjong meetup based in Bend for anyone interested in learning, playing, and meeting new people through mahjong - all skill levels, ages, and backgrounds are welcome!
This group is just getting started, so the goal right now is simply to gather people who might be interested and see what kind of community we can build together. Whether you’ve played for years or have never touched a tile before, you’re invited.
The vision is a relaxed, welcoming meetup where we can rotate between casual games at places like the new Bend Library (thinking the outdoor tables), local coffee shops/breweries, or even occasional member-hosted game nights. Hoping this becomes a shared community effort over time, with different people helping host or organize meetups so it feels easy, fun, and low-pressure for everyone.
With enough participants, we can have tables for different experience levels so beginners can learn comfortably while more experienced players can still play at their pace.
There’s a 60-day free trial while the group gets started and people can see if the vibe fits what you’re looking for. After that, membership is $5/month to help cover platform fees & basic supplies.
