What we're about

Animal Protection and Rescue League is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which works to document and expose animal cruelty occurring behind closed doors, educates the public on animals issues through innovative outreach campaigns, and works with policymakers and politicians to implement humane change.

Since forming in 2003, APRL has garnered the attention of national and international media, influenced animal protection legislation, conducted numerous rescues of abused factory farmed animals, influenced cities to adopt humane solutions to wildlife management, and created a network of grassroots outreach volunteers.

Please join us for regular events like potlucks, speakers, film screenings, dining events, outreach and protests. For more information, please visit our website at http://www.aprl-socal.org

4th Annual Fur Free Saturday Protest at South Coast Plaza
Needs a date and time

Nordstrom South Coast Plaza

Please wear all black, and dress nicely. Please do not bring large bags/purses.

We are protesting the cruel fur industry that strangles, suffocates, and anally electrocutes innocent animals so companies like Bloomingdale's, Michael Kors, and Saks can profit. Imagine how afraid these animals are! We know the holidays are busy but your presence is needed to help chip away at this cruel industry that kills 60 million animals a year. There have been recent victories: Gucci and Burlington Coat Factory have gone fur free! We need you to help move public consciousness along on this issue, and to let businesses know that we hear the screams behind their clothing.
