πŸ“ Box Bar Recreation Site (Tonto National Forest)
πŸ—“ Sunday, March 22, 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (or stay and enjoy the river as long as you'd like!)

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Family Friendly
As the light and dark come into balance, we gather in community to honor renewal, reciprocity, and our relationship with the land. The Spring Equinox marks a turning β€” a time to plant intentions, clear what no longer serves, and step forward together with care and creativity. 🌞🌎
This day is rooted in service first β€” giving back to the river that holds us.

🌿 Our Intention
To begin in gratitude.
To tend the land that tends us.
To create beauty from what already exists.
To share food, laughter, and presence.
To welcome spring in right relationship.

We will open the day with a brief welcome circle and intention-setting before beginning our community trash pick-up.

🧀 What to Expect
✨ Community Service (10a–11ish)
We’ll start with trash clean-up along the riverbanks. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Service is our prayer in action.
🎨 Nature Art-Making
After tending the land, we’ll gather to create art using natural and found objects. All basic supplies will be provided. This will be accessible, intuitive, and family-friendly β€” no art experience needed.
πŸ₯— Spring Potluck Feast
Bring your favorite spring-inspired dish to share! Fresh, light, colorful foods are encouraged 🌼
