Membership in the Arlington Jaycees includes membership in the Virginia Jaycees, US Jaycees (JCI USA) and Junior Chamber International (JCI). The Arlington Jaycees have been proudly serving the Arlington Community since 1948.
Get involved: We currently have many opportunities to get involved during the course of the year ranging from community service projects to socials to professional networking events. Our public events are open to members as well as anyone who is interested in learning more about our organization and serving our community, however private events and socials are members only. Please RSVP today on Meetup for an upcoming event.
Monthly Meetings: The second Thursday of every month at 7:00pm, we will hold our monthly Networking Socials for all Jaycees and interested members. We will start by providing updates on chapter business, announce upcoming events, and discuss professional development topics. We'll end the meeting with networking and socializing. This is a perfect way to learn everything about the Jaycees and meet our awesome members (plus free appetizers)!!
To join the Arlington Jaycees, please sign up here. Our annual membership fee is $70. After filling out the membership application, we will reach back out for membership dues. Once payment is received, congratulations! You're officially a Jaycee!

See all- Volunteering at the Arlington Food Assistance CenterArlington Food Assistance Center, Arlington, VA
Join the Jaycees in volunteering at the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC)! We sort donated canned goods or bag portions of dry goods or produce for AFAC's weekly food distributions to low-income families in Arlington. AFAC is a long-time community partner of the Arlington Jaycees!
After volunteering at AFAC, the group will usually meet up for food and drinks nearby in Shirlington!
Because of the limited number of people that can attend this event, if you sign up and find that you cannot make it, PLEASE UPDATE YOUR RSVP as soon as possible to allow wait-listed people to attend.
AFAC is located at 2708 South Nelson Street and Four Mile Run Drive. There is street parking available near the building although parking spots are limited so please arrive early. The Volunteer Entrance is the GRAY DOOR by the loading dock. Once inside, the volunteer sign-in station is ahead and to the right.
Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops) and must have your hair covered while bagging food. You can bring a hat from home or AFAC will provide disposable hairnets.
At 2:30, or when we are done at AFAC, we will head to Samuel Beckett's Irish Pub in nearby Shirlington for food and drinks.

- Seafood Raw Bar Night with the JayceesRagtime, Arlington, VA
Do you have a hankering for affordable, fresh seafood? Do you want to spend a fun, casual night with good food, drinks, and people? Come join the Arlington Jaycees for our August social at Ragtime in Court House.
Location: Ragtime Bar and Grill, 1345 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22201
Parking is available at the nearby Courthouse lot, garages, and street, but the easiest access is from the Courthouse Metro Station.
Meet us at the front of the building! Look for Eric (picture in the participants).
Time: We'll meet at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. We'll get a table when a reasonable quorum arrives, but feel free to join us a bit later if you need to. The raw bar is available until 11 PM, though we're probably not staying out quite so late on a work night!

- Maryland Renaissance Festival VisitMaryland Renaissance Festival, Annapolis, MD
Come join us at the Maryland Renaissance Festival! This event is one of the finest in the United States, with countless opportunities, whether you want to browse handmade crafts, enjoy the live jousting or musical performances, try axe-throwing, chomp on a turkey leg, or sample the local mead! Everyone is welcome!
Tickets: Tickets must be purchased in advance here. Tickets can sell out, so please purchase as soon as possible. Tickets formally go on sale August 4 at 10 AM. Tickets for adults are $32 and includes parking and free viewing of all performances.
Attire: If you wish to dress up, do so! Or, come as you are in everyday life! There is no pressure! And if you do wish to dress up, typical costumes vary widely in theme -- for instance, this visit will be during Pirate Weekend.

There is a lot of parking, and it is free, though if carpooling from Northern Virginia is desired, we can discuss it.
Meet us at the front of the faire entrance at 12 pm (inside the event). Feel free to come earlier and stay as long as you want. The festival is open from 10 to 7.
