Theodore Roosevelt Island Hike/Walk + Lunch in Roslyn

Come join the Arlington Jaycees outside in the spring weather at Theodore Roosevelt Island! The island provides several flat, beginner friendly hiking (more like walking) trails around a beautiful nature preserve, and includes several monuments and historical markers to see along the way. Come on by to meet new friends, meet the Jaycees, mingle, and maybe even learn something about old Teddy himself.

We will plan to meet at the entrance of the Roslyn Metro at 11am. From there it's about a 15 minute walk to the start of the trails across the pedestrian bridge/bike path. If you plan to drive, there is a parking lot available next to the trailhead that you can meet us at. We'll plan to spend about 2 hours there and then return to Roslyn for lunch!
