Join us for one of our most popular events, the Memorial Day potluck picnic and party. You'll get to meet and greet some of our most amazing members! There will be a special icebreaker activity to help people better get to know
each other and an organized walk through the park. This is always one of our
best-attended events and we encourage you to show up early.

Please wait till after May 10 to post what food you're bringing and sharing so we all know. Either store-bought or homemade is fine. We discourage bringing cookies and chips unless they're homemade or from a bakery.

Our sponsor, Walls R Us Painting, is providing drinks, ice, cups, plates, napkins
and cutlery but not serving utensils. Please bring some if they'd be helpful
for your dish, bowl or platter. You're welcome to bring a chair.

If you need to change your reservation, do not post a comment about it -
just update to Not Going. Be sure to change it at least a day in advance
if you're not able to attend.

Anyone wishing to help set up, please send Yosef a message. Help would
be greatly appreciated. Remember that guests aren't permitted at our
events. Your friends are welcome to join the group and RSVP for
themselves.

For a fun change of pace, join us for a casual wine and spirits tasting at ABC
Fine Wine & Spirits in Palm Beach Gardens, where for just $15 you can sample
a wide range of wines as well as a variety of of rum, vodka, gin, liqueurs, tequila,
bourbon and other spirits from all over the world. There will be some alcohol-free
options.

With more than a dozen serving stations, each with 6-10 choices, you can go from table to table and try out exciting new drinks as well as enjoy old favorites. A variety of cheeses and other snacks will be provided. You can make purchases from a barbecue food truck outside. Experts will be on hand to discuss the process of wine-making from the harvest to aging and bottling.

The tasting begins at 5:30 p.m. but whenever you arrive is fine. You're welcome
to come a little earlier for some pre-event socializing. There's a $5 discount on
bottle purchases of $25 or more. Payment is by cash, credit card, debit card or
Apple Pay.

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is Florida's oldest and largest family-owned-and-
operated fine wine and spirits retailer, with more than 130 locations across the
state. The typical store carries more than 10,000 different wines, spirits and
beers.

Join us for a fun morning at the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County. Using such basic supplies as markers, crayons, glue, paper and scissors, we'll decorate literacy kits that'll be distributed free to local pre-K and kindergarten children to encourage their love of reading. All supplies are provided and no special drawing or craft-making skill is needed. Everyone
is welcome. Take note that we will not be working with children.

Snacks, coffee and water will be provided. The event will begin with a talk about the nonprofit Literacy Coalition, which has provided literacy skills to children, adults and families countywde since 1989.

Join us for a joyous Juneteenth, a federal holiday to commemorate the formal
abolition of slavery at the end of the Civil War. The Norton Museum's intergenerational
event celebrates freedom and spotlights the African American experience with live musical performances, dance, gallery talks on art, tours, storytelling, art-making activities, food vendors and more. Admission is free and parking is free in the museum's lot and a few nearby lots.

Our visit is from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. It wll be lightly hosted and you'll be able to walk
around with us or choose from the many activities on your own. You're welcome to
stay afterward for more music, dance and other festivities till they end at 4 p.m.
