IMPORTANT NOTE - See ticket information below.

"Something Rotten!" is a rollicking Broadway musical comedy about two playwright brothers in Elizabethan England who struggle to compete with the huge popularity of William Shakespeare by writing the world's very first musical after a soothsayer predicts this new theatrical form. It's presented by the theater department at Dreyfoos School of the Arts, one of the country's premier arts magnet high schools.

In 2015, it was nominated for 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. For a short trailer, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfJKHSwsCMM (1:15), and two good overview songs, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwI8OHTj05g (:54) and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SezNooqLzvw (2:39).

TICKETS MUST BE ORDERED IN ADVANCE, $28. I'm handling this for our group. You'll be on the Waitlist until you've paid. We'll have our own seating section in the spacious 600-seat Meyer Hall.

The school is one block north of Kravis Center and there's ample free parking in its fenced-in lot. After the show we can go for refreshments at a nearby restaurant.
