FREE American Folk Music Concert - Matthew Sabatella & the Rambling String Band

Join us for a free concert of the greatest hits of American folk music from colonial times through the folk music revival of the 1950s and '60s by Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band. They'll entertain us with well-known songs that are woven into the fabric of the United States and we'll learn the fascinating stories behind them. As always at a Matthew Sabatella show, the audience will be invited for some easy sing-alongs.

Matthew is a noted music historian and educator. We've gone to six of his shows as a soloist and they've all been great. This will be our first time seeing the full band. It was selected by the Florida Department of State’s Division of Arts and Culture as their 2025 Artist-in-Residence for the Florida Folklife Program.
