A Showcase of Rhythm, Pulse Percussion Concert at Dreyfoos School of the Arts
Details
Join us for an exciting show of entirely percussive music at Dreyfoos School
of the Arts, one of the country's premier arts magnet high schools. We'll be
treated to a wide variety of unusual as well as familiar rhythm instruments such as
drums, marimbas, xylophones, chimes, maracas, gongs, claves, rainsticks, didgeridoos, cowbells, triangles and sambago bells. In addition to percussionists from Dreyfoos' symphonic band, wind ensemble, and chamber music group, the show also includes students from Bak Middle School of the Arts.
Tickets are just $13 and must be ordered in advance. I'm handling this for our group. You'll be on the Waitlist until you've paid. Message me or email me if you have any questions. We'll have our own seating section in the spacious 600-seat Meyer Hall.
The school is one block north of Kravis Center and there's ample free parking in its fenced-in lot. After the show, we can go for refreshments at a nearby restaurant.
This is a multi-group Meetup. Ours is sponsored by Walls R Us Painting.
