Dreyfoos School of the Arts Piano Impromptu Concert

Join us for an exciting, high-energy piano concert in the intimate 160-seat Brandt Black Box Theater at Dreyfoos School of the Arts, one of the country's premier arts magnet high schools. Unlike other shows at Dreyfoos, at this one the students get to choose their songs and do their own renditions of well-known modern pop, rock and jazz. Some will be by soloists and some by a group of up to five or six that may include other instruments. This concert is quite nontraditional. Several students dress up in costumes to match their pieces and many songs are highly stylized

Tickets are just $18 and must be ordered in advance, I'm handling this for our group.

The school is one block north of Kravis Center and there's ample free parking in its
fenced-in lot. After the show, we can go for refreshments at a nearby restaurant. Our Meetup is sponsored by Walls R Us Painting.
