What we’re about
This meetup is for anyone interested in working on art projects in a lovely outdoor setting. Work individually, or join with others on creative projects. Please bring your easel and set up in the garden, or share the large art table.
The setting is Hayes Valley Art Works, at the corner of Octavia Boulevard and Oak (enter on Lily Street). There is a lovely garden with trees and flowers. Bring your own easel and materials, or share with others. A work table and some chairs are provided.
All levels welcome, from beginner to professional artists.

Join us for an exciting Jazz Jam Session on the last Saturday of every month from 1-4 pm, located at the beautiful sculpture garden at Hayes Valley Art Works (HVAW) on the corner of Octavia and Page Street. This is a free event that's open to everyone, with light refreshments available by donation. We encourage you to show your support for the band by giving a donation, but no one will be turned away.

Our jazz band, Curious Planet (@curious.planet @planet.curious) and @dotcomandthenoise, along with some talented local singers, will be entertaining you with their amazing music. Your host and emcee, Barbara "Babs" Early (@obabso), will make sure you have a great time.
We also invite local artists to exhibit their work in Artist Garden during the event, so be sure to check that out as well! Plus we have an exhibit in our gallery in the shipping container at the north end of the lot.
