About us
Art Lounge creates events for creative people with a focus on original formats and experiences.
We experiment with different concepts, unexpected twists and unique elements to create events that stand out from other similar events. We want each format to feel fresh, distinctive and, where possible, offer something that hasn’t been done before.
We’re starting with Write Away, a monthly social event for creative writers. It combines a 90-minute writing session with a Creative Exchange, where you can share your progress and work, pitch an idea and find people who can help you with it, or take the stage in a 5-minute open mic.
In the future, Art Lounge aims to expand beyond writing into other forms of art, such as drawing, painting, crafting and more, while continuing to experiment with new event concepts and formats.
Our goal is to build a thriving, welcoming creative community where people of all skill levels can take part.
