We have had an issue with negative comments and photos (Zoom Bombing) so if you would like to attend you will now need to register and there will be a waiting room in the beginning of the meeting. We want the meeting to be a safe and positive environment.
INTRODUCTION
Each second Saturday of the month, we have a Zoom call where members present a subject of visual art that they are interested in or doing themselves. They share their screen, showing everyone in the group pictures of works of art and pictures of the author or anything related. Often folks tell us about the artist, the history of the piece, the techniques utilized or the school or time period of the genre of that particular art genre. We learn quite a bit from each other’s presentations and a discussion of the art occurs as anyone who attends can comment or ask questions. If you are passionate about art, this is a great group for you! We do record each session and the recordings and visual presentations are available for a month on our Box.com account which you can access once you become a member of our email list.

We do exchange email addresses for those who want, to facilitate communication as it helps to organize in person trips to art museums, galleries, and art auctions. The email address for the Meetup group is artloverssocialgroup@mailbox.org. You can email this address and say you would like to be on the email list.
We will be meeting virtually each month on the second Saturday at noon with additional in person meetings during the month.
