The Seattle Art Museum (SAM) has a new exhibit beginning in late October so let's see it! It is impressionist artwork around the subject of FOOD! The exhibit is called Farm to Table: Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of Impressionism. "Featuring more than 50 works by artists ranging from Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet, and Camille Pissarro, to Eugène Boudin, William-Adolphe Bouguereau, and Victor Gabriel Gilbert, this exhibition looks back at the Age of Impressionism through the lens of French culinary tradition." Tickets for adults are $29.99/person purchased online ahead of time or $32.99/person purchased the same day. We will go to The Market in the lower level of the building after spending about 1.5 hours at the museum, around 2:45pm. There is also another exhibit on impressionism called Impressionisms in The Nineteenth Century. You can get to the museum easily by using the light rail system and getting off at the Symphony Station. The museum is only 2 blocks from the station.
