Lighted Geometric Sculpture at the Seattle Asian Art Museum!
Details
The Seattle Asian Art Museum has a spectacular exhibit on now and I think we need to see it! ( https://www.seattleartmuseum.org/whats-on/exhibitions/anila-quayyum-agha-geometry-of-light?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23206808045&gbraid=0AAAAAolTx1MQr3m-vrlI30PLG6xhWmQdi&gclid=Cj0KCQiAy6vMBhDCARIsAK8rOgkPnzdBigmbxllAnFFKtr4G_Z_8g9U4xp5WwNLU_7q2HNCVQPOh0EwaAqHSEALw_wcB) Because this is such an excellent exhibit, the ticket prices are a bit higher, at 29.99/adult and $24.99/senior. The price of each ticket increases $3 if you purchase them the same day at the museum. You can become a Seattle Art Museum member as an adult for $89/year and you can go to the main Seattle Art Museum downtown, the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Capital Hill, or the Olympic Sculpture Park downtown for free all year. Becoming a member is a great value and of course SAM member and exhibit prices reflect their need to maintain a reliable income stream. There are also discount memberships available and the link to the information is:
https://seattleartmuseum.org/get-involved/discounted-memberships. The museum is located at 1400 E. Prospect in Volunteer Park and there is abundant free parking on the street and also in front of the museum if you get there a bit early.
After spending 1-2 hours at the museum, we will walk about 8 blocks to the Jamjuree Thai Restaurant at 509 15th Ave. E. This restaurant always welcomes us as a group, which I very much appreciate.
