### 💀 Step Beneath the City… If You Dare

This Halloween season, our Social Club descends below the streets of old New York for an unforgettable, candlelit journey into the Catacombs beneath the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral.
In the glow of flickering lanterns, we’ll explore burial vaults, secret corridors, and hauntingly beautiful architecture that’s usually hidden from view. Along the way, you’ll hear stories of early New York, lost chapters of the city’s Catholic heritage, and tales of those who rest in eternal silence beneath these historic stone arches.

### 🕯️ About the Experience

This one and a half hour (90 minutes) guided walking tour by Fever New York combines history, mystery, and cinematic atmosphere. You’ll see:

• The underground catacombs, where prominent 19th-century New Yorkers were laid to rest
• The Basilica’s candlelit sanctuary, featured in The Godfather and The Irishman
• Stunning architectural details and fascinating stories that bring the past vividly to life

Wear comfortable shoes and be ready for low lighting and uneven flooring — it’s part of the adventure (and the chills)!

### 🎃 Timing & Meeting Spot

• Arrive by 12:45 PM for check-in — the group must enter together.
• Tour begins promptly at 1:00 PM.
• Meeting point: Inside the Mott Street courtyard gate (between Prince & Houston Streets).
  Look for our group near the “Catacombs Tour” sign and the tour guide check-in area.
  (Please note — this is St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Little Italy, not the one on Fifth Avenue!)

### 🧛‍♀️ Dress Code & Vibe

• Because the venue is a sacred space and active Basilica, visitors must dress respectfully.
• The tour takes place rain or shine, and about half the tour is outside.
• No costumes — Even though it’s a Halloween-themed event, the venue prohibits costumes.
• Avoid tank tops, short shorts, or anything that might be considered disrespectful or revealing.
• Dress in layers, because while some parts are underground (cooler temperature) and some parts are outside (subject to weather).
• Bring a light jacket or sweater in case it’s chilly in sections.
