### 🎨 WHAT WE’RE SEEING

We’ll be visiting two of Cooper Hewitt’s exciting current exhibitions:

• Made in America: The Industrial Photography of Christopher Payne — A powerful photographic journey showcasing over 70 large-format images that document the craft, industry, and artisan production across America. From pianos to semiconductors, this exhibition celebrates the labor and design that shape everyday objects.
• Devon Turnbull: HiFi Pursuit Listening Room Dream No. 3 — An immersive audio-design installation where sound, object, and space merge. Expect handcrafted sound systems, vintage and contemporary design pieces, and a rich sensory experience that explores how design shapes our relationship to music.

These two exhibits highlight the breadth of design — from functional, industrial creation to experiential, sound-based art — giving us a full taste of what Cooper Hewitt is about.

Smart-casual is perfect. Wear comfortable shoes — we’ll be exploring galleries, possibly standing, walking, and using elevators. Layers are a good idea for comfort in NYC winter and gallery climate control.
