## ✨ ABOUT THIS EVENT

Join us for a refined and intimate self-guided visit to The Frick Collection, one of New York City’s most elegant and beloved museums — a perfect way to begin the new year. Housed in the former Gilded Age mansion of industrialist Henry Clay Frick, the museum offers an extraordinary setting in which masterworks of European painting, sculpture, and decorative arts are displayed within historic rooms rather than traditional gallery spaces. Every visit feels like stepping into another time. During this afternoon, members are free to explore at their own pace, linger where they wish, and engage in thoughtful conversation — all while sharing the experience together.

## 🎧 WHAT “SELF-GUIDED” MEANS

This is a self-guided group visit, which means:
• We enter the museum together as a group
• There is no formal docent or lecture
• Members explore the galleries independently or in small clusters
• You can move at your own pace — slow and contemplative, or broad and exploratory
• Conversation is encouraged, but never required
This format allows for a more personal, relaxed, and immersive experience — especially well-suited to a museum as intimate and beautifully scaled as The Frick.

## 🖌️ EXHIBITIONS WE WILL SEE

In addition to the permanent collection, we will focus on two exceptional special exhibitions:

### ✨ To the Holy Sepulcher: Treasures from the Terra Sancta Museum

This remarkable exhibition presents sacred artworks and devotional objects from the Terra Sancta Museum, many of which are rarely seen outside the Holy Land. The works trace centuries of pilgrimage, faith, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange — offering a powerful, moving experience set within The Frick’s serene galleries.

### 🌸 Flora Yukhnovich: Four Seasons

This contemporary exhibition places Yukhnovich’s vibrant, expressive paintings into dialogue with the historic surroundings of The Frick.
Her work reimagines themes from Rococo painting with bold color, movement, and emotional intensity — creating a fascinating contrast between old and new, tradition and reinvention.

Together, these two exhibitions make this visit especially rich and layered.
