## ✨ A Very Special Return Visit

Join us for a wonderful afternoon at one of New York City’s most unique and entertaining museums — the AKC Museum of the Dog.
Our Social Club previously visited the Museum in May 2025, and it was such a memorable and enjoyable experience that I wanted to arrange another special visit for our members.
This time, our event will include both:
✨ Admission to the Museum
✨ A private group tour led by the outstanding Alan Fausel
The complete cost for the entire experience is only $20 per member.

## 🎨 Our Tour Guide: Alan Fausel

We are especially fortunate to have Alan Fausel return to lead our group tour.
Mr. Fausel brings more than 30 years of art-world experience as a scholar, curator, appraiser, lecturer, and educator. His extensive background includes serving as Curator of the Frick Art Museum in Pittsburgh and working with major auction houses including Butterfields, Doyle, and Bonhams.
He has also appeared regularly at the paintings table on ANTIQUES ROADSHOW since the program’s first season in 1997 and taught at New York University’s Graduate School of Arts Education for many years.
His deep knowledge of art, history, and collecting makes him an exceptional guide, and his insight will bring the Museum’s extraordinary collection to life in a way that a self-guided visit simply cannot.

The AKC Museum of the Dog preserves, interprets, and celebrates the important role dogs have played throughout human history and society.
The Museum explores the extraordinary relationship between people and dogs through art, artifacts, history, technology, and interactive exhibitions.

## 🏛️ Art, History and Technology

The Museum combines traditional fine art with modern technology and interactive displays, creating an experience that is both educational and entertaining.
Visitors can discover how dogs have appeared in art over the centuries, learn about different breeds and their histories, explore the human-canine bond, and enjoy rotating exhibitions drawn from the Museum’s remarkable collection.
Whether you are a devoted dog lover, an art enthusiast, a history buff, or simply curious to experience something different, this Museum offers something for everyone.
