Environmental Film Festival - Scenic Shorts From Kosovo - MUST RSVP to site!

This special event presents an international showcase of films from Kosovo, curated by DokuFest. Featuring three compelling films -- We Were, However, Able To See the Construction by Visar Berisha, Ajo Mal by Jonada Jashari, and Herd by Baris Karamuco -- the screening highlights the heritage of the Sharr Mountain region and the integration of film into Kosovo’s national curriculum. Accompanied by a presentation from key DokuFest staff, including Eroll Bilibani (Head of Education), Alba Çakalli (Festival Producer), and Jeton Jagxhiu (Board Member and researcher), the discussion will explore the intersection of film, culture, environment, and education, with a focus on sustainable practices. Jagxhiu will also share insights from his upcoming book, Hajet, Kërkimet dhe Krejt Rrëfimet, which delves into the connection between food, history, and identity in Prizren. This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the cultural and educational work of DokuFest while celebrating the rich heritage of Kosovo.
