House of Sweden Rooftop Film Screening of Nova & Alice - Ticket Required

The Embassy of Sweden in Washington, DC is excited to continue its summer film series 2025, showcasing a selection of Swedish films that celebrate the rich cultural heritage and cinematic excellence of Sweden. This event is part of WorldPride in Washington 2025. The film is NOVA & ALICE (2024).

Swedish director Emma Bucht and actors Hedda Stiernstedt (Alice) and Josefin Asplund (Nova) perfectly bring to life the story of two musicians who clash but grow together during a life-changing summer tour.
The film will be screened on the rooftop (weather permitting) of the Embassy of Sweden.

About the film
Two very different artists are forced on tour together by their manager. Alice is an established artist whose popularity is fading, while Nova is a rising star with a chaotic personal life.
